10 Reasons why you should visit BRICKLIVE this half term holiday

There’s so much going on at BRICKLIVE, the UK’s biggest LEGO celebration, at Birmingham’s NEC this half-term, we could go on for hours about how much there is to see and do but for now, here ten reasons why you should join us from 27-30 October.

  1. LEGO fans young and old, big or small, can play with over 3million LEGO bricks and get creative in our fantastic Brick Pits, Duplo play and free-build areas.

  1. Meet all the new LEGO Dimensions characters with live demonstrations and the chance to play as well as collecting unique character cards – a full set will get you an exclusive playable Green Arrow figure.

  1. See the world’s largest LEGO Ship – After it’s journey all over Europe, Jubilee Seaways, created with over 1million LEGO bricks finally makes its maiden voyage to the UK, mooring at the NEC!

  1. Take your seat at the BRICKLIVE Stage with special guests including professional LEGO builders, gaming demonstrations, the latest LEGO sets to buy for Christmas, and fantastic LEGO building competitions to win prizes.

  1. See the UK premiere of the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens videogame exhibition – then play the game at one of 16 pods – or discover LEGO Worlds as the designers who created it give you a live demonstration.

  1. Enjoy LEGO as an art form in the BRICKLIVE Gallery sponsored by START, with extraordinary 3D sculptures and mosaics never seen in the UK before designed to inspire any builder.

  1. Get involved in one of our many ‘Have-a-Go’ areas such as Build Britain, where you build your house to go on our giant map, or compete in the First LEGO league science and technology challenge – build robots and solve a series of exciting build missions.

  1. Find all the latest LEGO sets and fantastic offers in our giant Toys’R’Us pop-up store or take a walk down Bricklane where you’ll find rare and hard to find sets, LEGO accessories, and great gifts ideas for Christmas.

  1. It’s Halloween so get your scary costumes on and take part in our costume parade, join the Scooby-Doo ‘spooktacular’ scavenger, create a tile in our ‘monster-ous’ mosaic, and help us build the UK’s biggest 3D LEGO pumpkin.

  1. The best reason to visit BRICKLIVE is the Fan Zone featuring around 80 amazing LEGO builders from around the world who bring their own incredible creations, some taking year’s of planning and building. Just breathtaking!
